Facebook, is one of the leaders of social media. With more than 600 million users, Facebook has been used for quite a while now. The idea is to create a page for the company, and assign an administrator to update the page. Pages are similar to personal profiles, one can upload pictures of events, videos of activities the company promotes, etc. The key factor with any social media network is to keep up with the compromise of updating the page. Twitter, is something similar to the Facebook status bar i’ve you’ve ever used that website. The idea is to keep you “followers” updated on recent happening. Many artist have used this system to keep as as close as possible to their fans. Most times they’ve even tried to reply to the comments left by fans. Twitter is also a good place to promote coupons, discounts and other offers that you company may want to offer to entice their social marketplace.

LinkedIn, is similar to Facebook, however it is used professionally rather than socially. The idea is to create a company page where it explains to the business community, what you company does. What services and products people can benefit from. Most company employees will probably already have a LinkedIn page that the can associate with the company they’re working for. Allowing something similar to an “open door policy” the idea of this website is for people to network and meet and greet other executives.
